What kind of robot lawnmowers does GRaaS UK use?

While robot lawnmowers seem like a fairly recent invention they have actually been around since the mid 1990s! In that time though the technology has come on a long way, and it is only really the most recent advances in the last few years that make a service like GRaaS possible.
Many small budget robot mowers are now available on the market, some looking like the one below, but most of these depend on the installation of a 'boundary wire' in each area that is to be mowed, and have a very small range. Not only does this make them only suitable for the smallest of gardens, but initial installation is complex, and if (when) that wire breaks your robot will be unable to mow the lawn until the problem is found and fixed. This level of installation complexity and ongoing maintenance in every garden would make the GRaaS service unviable.

At GRaaS we only use the most recent advances in robot lawnmower technology. Instead of using a boundary wire all of our robot mowers make use of GPS and Satellite technology, combined with AI vision, to ensure they always know exactly where they are, where they should be cutting, and what they need to avoid! This has a huge number of benefits, including:
Fast set-up - allowing our robots to be quickly set up to mow new gardens in a matter of minutes
Centimetre level accuracy - our mowers know exactly where they are meant to mow, and where they aren't, ensuring accurate results.
Intelligent avoidance - whether it is a child's toy, sports equipment, or even a pet - our mowers will automatically detect and steer around any obstacles lying in their path
Security - our mowers automatically detect if they have been picked up or moved out of their pre-programmed cutting area. Not only do they automatically disable themselves in this scenario, meaning they are useless to anyone else, but with GPS tracking they can easily be located and recovered.
