If you do not want the cost and complexity of installing and maintaining your own robot lawnmower, then our 'Shared Robot' service is ideal. In this service our robot lawnmowers are moved between properties as required, sharing the cost and meaning you only pay for what you use.

So how does the shared service work? It's very simple - just contact us to organise a visit where we will survey the size of your lawn, ensure it is suitable for a robot mower, and agree the schedule your lawn will be mowed on. GRaaS will then drop off, configure, and collect a robot lawnmower from your garden on the agreed schedule. For smaller gardens that might mean the robot mower is collected again later the same day, for larger gardens the mower might be collected the following day. GRaaS will then repeat this process on the agreed schedule based on the subscription you have signed up for.

Robot lawnmowers are designed to keep you grass short and neat with regular cuts, and normally use a technique called 'mulching'. This means that the short offcuts of grass from each cut are left on your lawn, which actually feeds the lawn and over time results in a much greener, healthier lawn. If initially your grass is too thick, and the first cut would result in too much grass being left lying on your lawn, we can also provide a grass sweeping / collecting service to tidy up all of the off-cuts, and would then switch to mulching for future regular cuts.

If the shared service doesn't sound right for you, and you would like to own your own dedicated robot mower, then we can come and survey your garden, help you select the ideal model, and fully install and configure it for you. We also offer ongoing service & support plans for customer-owned robots, ranging from pay as you go call-outs to help resolve any problems you might have, through to full service plans including annual winter cleaning and servicing, storage of your robot mower through the winter when it is not needed, and re-deployment when the spring comes around.
